Jackson's Journeys

This is an account of our travels, primarily in our motorhome, and primarily to Mexico each winter. We hope to be able to add a bit at a time, and add many more photos without filling up everyone's mailbox. Hopefully it will become a little more attractive and interesting as we become more proficient. Hope you enjoy traveling with us.

About Me

My photo
Art and Gillian
We are both retired and live with our dogs. Sadly we had to say goodbye this year to Tia. She adopted us in Zihautanejo 12 years ago and was at least 14 or 15 years old, very possibly older. Towards the end she was quite deaf and a bit senile but still a sweetheart. Finally her body just wore out, could barely walk and was unable to get back up on her feet. We miss her, but are thankful for the years we had with her. Last fall we found Prana, a 19 month old Yellow Lab/Golden Retriever cross. She is smart and lively and keeping us very busy, a sweet and friendly girl and gives us much joy as well as keeping us busy keeping her busy! November through March we exchange the rain, cloud and short days of home for hot and sunny Mexico. The rest of the time we enjoy our beautiful Vancouver Island, with the occasional flight to the UK and / or Europe.
